Adam Waters FUJI TV Profile
NOTE: This TV Profile was originally broadcast on December 4, 2008 (Day 757 of RTP Blog). Below is a reprint of this blog post.
G’day Shredders,
As you may recall back on Day 731 a Japanese TV Crew flew in from overseas to interview me on the 2-Year anniversary of RTP Blog (November 8, 2008).
This TV show is a weekly program on FUJI TV Program called "Unbelievable" which highlights “amazing stories” from people around the world. The cool part is that this particular TV Show is the 13th highest-rating program in Japan with an average weekly viewership of 20,000,000 people!
What is more amazing is the fact that this TV show went to air tonight, less than one month after TV crew interviewed me! Japanese TV shows sure work fast in post-production and editing!
N.B. You’ll notice
that a few of the stills have celebrities “real time reactions”
in the top left corner!

Wicked stuff mate!
What is it with Japanese TV shows where they show the guests reactions to stories - I’ve seen that on a few videos. Is that common?
Adam, that is so awesome!! Am so proud of you and your accomplishments!
awesome adam!
If they put up your blog adress on tv as well, this place should be flooding full of comments soon.
Its getting better and better for you, bud
Shred on
Danny
Congratulations, Adam! Your story on TV is sure to inspire many more people!
G’day Mark, yeah mate that is totally common in Japanese TV shows, it is a very celebrity driven culture and their opinions usually carry great weight on the stories they present.
Thank you Suzette! The cool thing is that we are only just getting warmed up!
Thanks Danny, yeah mate I’m not sure if they showed my blog address in the show, but I do know that they called me the “Diet Blog Man”!
Thanks Ron, that would be awesome if it did inspire more people to get into fitness!
Adam, you continue to inspire!
Adam, thanks for sharing the still pics. I hope we’ll be able to see video footage as well (and maybe with English subtitles??).
Congratulations!
Hey mate fantastic work!!! Everything is working out perfectly. Mate you are a true role model. Keep kickin arse for that next level. Also Tomoko messaged me while the T.V show was on. She couldn’t believe it!! She said Kakoii as I think many over there would be saying.
Thanks Mike, you inspire me mate, your progress and dedication is second to none. Looking forward to finally hitting the “Go Button” on our project.
Hi Debbie, my pleasure! Hopefully one of my Japanese friends can help me translate this clip!
G’day Davo, thanks for your kind words bro. Yeah mate, I’m looking forward to taking this to the next level man. We are also gonna get David Waters Golf to the next level on the web mate, blogging and vids are the way to go!
PS Say hello to Tomoko for me! I hope she is doing well and not freezing too much up there!
WOW Adam! The video stills look great! Looking forward to seeing more. Congratulations!
G’day Lilla, thank you for your kind words! I look forward to uploading the vid asap!
Hey, you have inspired me to blog my weightloss.
What an amazing transformation..
I am in my first week of a lighter-life programme. I am 5 stone/35 Kilos overweight and 5″2. I spent much of last year in the gym, so am quite strong and healthy in that respect and will go back to the gym next week. Mine is an extreme programme for the obese. I am confident I can do it though.
I found you on youtube and will be reading through your site.
Thanks!
Hi Farah, thank you for your very kind words. I am happy to hear that you will be starting your very own transformation. Change your mind, change your body, and change your life! Go massive Farah, and let me know how you go!
Cheers,
Adam
